Established in 1985, Gesellschaft für Handel und Finanz mbH (GHF) worked with the successful project management company Ventotec GmbH in 1998 to set up the renewable energies association based in Leer. Since then, a total of 327 wind turbines with an output in excess of 530 MW (investment volume of more than EUR 760 million) have collectively been instigated and are now in operation. This makes the association one of the largest project managers and operators in Germany. To date, GHF has floated 120 issues with a total value in excess of EUR 2.5 billion.
