Spilling Energie Systeme GmbH is a medium-sized enterprise which specialises in designing, manufacturing and commissioning power plants. The key components of the plants are the modular-designed Spilling steam engines and turbines. They are mainly used in combined heat and power plants in conjunction with biomass-fuelled steam boilers.
Steam engine units for biomass heat and power cogeneration systems:
• Power output: 100 to 5000 kWel
• Steam flow rates: up to 40 t/h
• Live steam pressure: 6 to 80 bars
As an expander for natural gas, the Spilling motor is used for recovering energy from natural gas transportation systems.
