Solar thermal Fresnel power plants
NOVATEC BioSol AG has developed a new generation of solar thermal power plants that are now ripe for mass production. The superiority of this technology is thanks to the corporate structure with its experienced specialists from all areas of solar energy research, automotive mass production and business management.
The power plant technology from NOVATEC BioSol is based on the principle used by Fresnel collector technology, whereby mass-produced reflectors are used. Here, parallel rows of reflectors bundle the reflecting solar radiation into one caustic line. In this caustic line, a receiver converts the solar radiation into heat energy. The resulting steam can be utilized for generating electricity, desalinating seawater, process heating or solar cooling.
