With over 1,400 employees and an annual turnover of around EUR 800 million (2010), juwi is a leading clean-tech company. Since the mid-1990s, the juwi Group has been planning, developing, financing and operating systems for the use of renewable energies worldwide.

In the wind sector, juwi has realised around 450 wind power turbines in over 75 locations with a combined output in excess of 700 megawatts. This includes wind farms in Germany, France, Poland, the USA and Costa Rica, where, with 55 turbines and an output of 49.5 megawatts, juwi brought the largest wind farm in Central America online. At Schneebergerhof (Donnersberg) in the Pfalz, juwi constructed the six-megawatt turbine "Enercon E-126", one of the most powerful wind turbines in the world.
