NOVATEC SOLAR delivers turnkey solar boilers with performance guarantee. The basis for this guarantee is the high precision of industrially manufactured solar field components and quality controlled solar field assembly. The performance guarantee allows clients to calculate precise steam yields dependent on solar altitude and radiation intensity. Thus, clients can perform future output planning similar to that of fossil fuel steam generators.
The modular solar boiler system NOVA-1 is based on Fresnel collector technology. Parallel rows of mirrors focus the solar radiation onto a linear receiver. Water in the absorber tube evaporates at 285 °C and 70 bar.
