CENTROSOLAR Group AG is one of the leading suppliers of photovoltaic plants for private homes as well as in the industrial and agricultural sectors. Its range encompasses complete systems, modules, inverters, mounting systems, thin-film modules and solar glass. Centrosolar also markets off-grid systems for rural electrification. The company has subsidiaries in several European countries and in North America. In 2010, more than 1,000 employees achieved a turnover of EUR 404 million.

At its production plant in Wismar, Germany, Centrosolar Sonnenstromfabrik produces high performance crystalline photovoltaic modules. Centrosolar expanded production in 2011 with a second facility, reaching an annual capacity of 350 MWp. This makes Sonnenstromfabrik one of the largest solar module production lines in Europe.
