Established in 1995, abakus solar AG is a leading international systems house for photovoltaics, providing comprehensive technical expertise – from small-scale systems to megawatt solar farms. With some 70 permanent employees, the company is headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, with additional offices in Cologne and Munich. abakus maintains a global presence with subsidiaries in Greece, Italy, Taiwan and the USA as well as through joint ventures in India and Taiwan.
The company’s main areas of activity are in the planning and turnkey construction of photovoltaic power plants, the wholesale of high-quality components and complete systems, including the realisation of individual, architecturally challenging solutions for solar systems that are integrated in buildings.
