Project development, technical planning and construction of marketable PV systems
The K&S Solarsysteme plans and constructs ground mounted photovoltaic systems. As a leading pioneer, K&S had considerable influence on the current legislative situation in Germany and has helped shape the planning approval structures for multi-megawatt PV systems. Based on this experience, the K&S Solarsysteme is today active worldwide. The K&S Solarsysteme BAVARIA SOLAR I project (10.1 MW) received the US award "Best Renewable Project of the Year 2005". In 2007, K&S Solarsysteme planned and constructed five solar parks producing a total output of 12.5 MW in Germany.
A further two large-scale, multi-megawatt projects were connected to the electricity network in 2008. The company intends to enter the Italian and Czech markets in 2009. K&S Solarsysteme achieved three certifications in 2008: DIN EN ISO 9001 (for quality), 14001 (for the environment) and OHSAS 18001 (for occupational health and safety).
As a full-line provider, the K&S Solarsysteme develops PV sites – from gaining planning permission to full completion. The core competences:
