CENTROSOLAR Group AG, Munich, comprises the established solar energy companies CENTROSOLAR AG with its brands Biohaus, Solara and Solarstocc PV, Centrosolar Glas, Ubbink Econergy Solar, Solarsquare and Centroplan. Through Ubbink Solar Modules and Sonnenstromfabrik Wismar, CENTROSOLAR has access to its very own module factories, in which high-performance crystalline modules are produced. In 2007, around 500 employees generated a turnover of EUR 221 million, of which almost 35% were foreign sales. CENTROSOLAR also has representatives in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland and the USA.
The company is one of the leading providers of smaller photovoltaic systems for private homes and larger systems for industrial roofs. CENTROSOLAR's on- and off-grid systems are used all over the world in extremely remote areas, far removed from electricity supply grids.
