Energy, but naturally!
The company is active in the area of shallow geothermal energy (up to a depth of 400 m). This includes consulting, planning, developing and monitoring geothermal plants as well as combining geothermal energy with other renewable energy sources.
Specialist areas include computer-aided simulations of subsurface conditions, designing probe fields for heating/cooling as well as carrying out thermal response tests (determining the geothermal subsurface parameters to provide a basis for planning).
Areas of expertise in the field of renewable energy are bundled together under the umbrella of the GIZeF centre in Freiberg.
